Japanese Sencha green tea

Gently rough, whole-leaf green tea. This tea comes from Shizuoka, on the slopes of the Fujiyama Mountains. It is machine-harvested in the fall, and the stems and broken fragments are manually removed. Sencha means "steamed tea," so this tea is carefully processed and lightly steamed before rolling and drying. The leaves form a very fine, fragile structure. The infusion has a light olive-green color. The flavor is concise. with a dominant note on the palate and ideal for lovers of strong green teas . A tea that also offers an excellent price/quality ratio.
