Hibiscus, as experts know, consists of the hibiscus calyx and the outer calyx. They are harvested during the fruiting season and then left to dry. After flowering, the fleshy, slightly brittle, and dry calyxes have already acquired their typical red color. Hibiscus, also called mallow, is cultivated mainly in Sudan, Egypt, China, Mexico, and Thailand. Hibiscus flower infusion can be drunk neat or in the form of a fruit tea blend and is thoroughly refreshing .
