A very exquisite and exclusive white tea from southern China. Pai Mu Tan is considered the most famous "white tea" and is gaining more and more fans in this country. This tea is grown in Fujian Province from a tea plant called Chaicha or Narcissus. It is also known as "white peony." After harvesting, the tea is dried in the sun or indoors without any technical means. The foliage offers a play of green colors in all its facets; it is very voluminous and contains a good portion of elongated leaves with silvery-white tips. The cup glows amber and gives off an elegant, lingering flavor.
